We are surrounded by lovely Pubs in nearly every village. Here's a few of our favourite locals:
Our nearest Pub, the De La Pole Arms, is a short walk at just under a mile from our Glamping site where you can enjoy drinks & takeaway food on Thursdays & Fridays.
Slightly further afield is the Old King's Head in Brockdish, 3 miles away, a 13th Century Pub that specialises in delicious Italian food - currently doing takeaway pizzas, see website to book online.
The Hoxne Swan, also 3 miles away, is a charming 15th Century Coaching Inn. Built in 1480 by the Bishop of Norwich, The Swan's interior reflects Hoxne's ecclesiastical past, with ornate ceiling beams and wide-planked floors. Fine Gravity Fed Ales & a 'Pub Classics' menu make it worth a visit
The Fox & Goose is a fine restaurant and country pub in Fressingfield, just 3 miles away. Serving a very high standard of traditional and modern cooking with attention to the quality and selection of ingredients. Awarded AA 2 Rosettes and featured in the Michelin and Harden's food guides.
The Low House (also known as The Kings’ Head, 6 miles away) is truly a pub like none you may have visited before. Nestled beautiful rural village of Laxfield,
it is mainly unaltered for over 400 years, this fine old C16 thatched pub has no bar but serves the beer straight from the casks in the Tap Room along with home cooked food
The White Horse at Badingham is an old 15th century coaching inn, with open fires, pan tiled floors and exposed oak beams. It is a delightful old village pub, which serves good-home cooked food in a cosy Inn environment. Offering a wide selection of real ales, which are poured direct from the barrel, sure to get all beer lovers excited. There’s also a changing selection of real ciders served at any one time, a varied wine list with most tastes catered for.
